Sitting at the top of the hill, just above Nashville's Music Row is Belmont University.  Belmont is a rapidly growing Christian university, home to over 6,000 students (4,900 undergrads).  This number has grown from 3,000 just 12 years ago.  The campus is beautiful and looks like you have entered a botanical garden with trees, grass and flowers perfectly manicured.  Campus is located in a residential neighborhood not far from a busy commercial district, providing students with many options for shopping an dining.

Belmont is best known for its College of Entertainment and Music Business-not surprising considering its' location.  The school also has strong programs in Education, Nursing and Entrepreneurship with a focus on liberal arts.  All students are required to take 2 religious education courses and complete 60 hours of community service, but there is no chapel requirement.

With Division 1 sports, Greek life, and over 100 clubs and organizations campus life is active but those looking for more can head to the bright lights of Nashville.
